Opportunity for an experienced HR/Payroll Officer to join a facilities management organisation based in Wigan.


Working in a standalone capacity and working closely with the finance department, you will be responsible for general HR Administration and working with an outsourced provider, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly payroll.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up new starters, including inductions, and managing the leavers process

  • Ensuring HR documentation is complete and compliant

  • Coordinating recruitment processes

  • Maintaining existing HR systems

  • Managing payroll data from time and attendance system

  • Submission of payroll information to external payroll provider

  • Pensions processing

  • Managing payroll queries at first instance

REQUIRMENTS

  • Experience working in HR and Payroll positions

  • Good knowledge of payroll legislation, including manual calculations

  • Experience managing personnel files

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good systems knowledge
